The choreographic work revolves around the figure of Ophelia as an emblem of two opposing souls that coexist: one calm and obedient and the other impetuous and crazy, souls with opposite colours that characterize the feminine being. Ophelia, Margherita in Faust, Haidée in Don Juan as well as Isabella of Keats embody this duality, sweet and light characters that become mad and in reaching the darker side that shakes their souls, they preserve a mysterious sweetness, as if they were poised between reality and the dream dimension.
