The A BIT project stems from the desire to explore the relationship of the individual and the community with the city and, in general, with urban spaces. A small group of spectators, rigorously with music on headphones and accompanied by a text that introduces and contextualizes the space of the performance, follows the dancers in the design that adapts to public and private urban spaces, indoors and out. When we put on headphones and decide on a sound, a music that accompanies us, often the space and our experience of it change in relation to that peculiar source that allows us to grasp details and exclude others, creating an intimate journey inside a space. public. The relationship between individual and collective position, in an urban and disordered context, is the cornerstone of the choreographic research: the dancers move according to the space and the audience, which unwittingly becomes part of the choreographic design.
